Welcome to the New Trier Political Journal! I’m one of our co-heads, and I primarily write opinion articles. Some of my favorite topics include international relations, intellectual property, national security, philosophy, and antitrust law. Within these subjects, some of my areas of focus include international law, U.S. alliances and policy in the Middle East, transhumanism and utilitarianism. My political philosophy is grounded in Enlightenment humanism, although the most accurate description in modern terminology would be a social democrat with a libertarian streak. My favorite animal is a raven.
